Director, Ticketing Strategy & Operations
Rod is a recognized industry expert in ticketing strategy and operations. During his 19-year career Rod has worked in 12 countries, providing ticketing services and advice ranging from long-term strategic projects to shorter-term on-the-ground trouble-shooting. From small start-up companies to the largest events worldwide, Rod provides sound, workable solutions and ensures successful implementation. He is flexible and adaptable and is highly regarded for his strong leadership, resilience and calmness under pressure. Outside work, Rod pursues any sport he can find – from marathons to mud runs to team sports. He also has a passion for learning and strives to enhance his industry knowledge by studying the latest innovations and how to apply them in the international event business. Rod is currently consulting to the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Director, Emergency & Event Preparedness
Jacqui specializes in risk assessment, mitigation, stakeholder integration, operational capability and readiness, and emergency planning. With a Masters of Science in Emergency Management and a Masters in International Relations, Jacqui has a unique ability to balance the needs for operational effectiveness against the cultural nuances of the countries in which she has worked; including Australia, the United States, Ethiopia, Greece, Canada, India, the United Kingdom, Russia, Poland and Brazil. Jacqui’s passion for emergency management, problem solving and cementing of close working partnerships spans both her volunteer commitments with the City of Vancouver Emergency Social Services team and Neighbourhood Emergency Assistance Team, and her professional experience in planning, readiness and risk. Jacqui fosters organizational resiliency by implementing practical and scalable solutions to companies small and large. Jacqui is a member of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and sits on the board of the IAEM Canada Council. Jacqui led the external readiness program for the London 2012 Organising Committee and fulfilled a Games-time liaison role between the strategic government coordination hub of Cabinet Office and the Main Operations Centre (MOC). Most recently she worked with TO2015 to develop and implement their venue simulations, risk response plans and policies and procedures.
